Based on their homepage, these guy are from Sweden. They’re using a combination of Americanese and UK English. We rarely use “whilst” here in the colonies, except when writing articles for car magazines and trying to sound English. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. You are absolutely correct but the “industry standard” term that has been embraced is “Spring bar” even though watch pin does make more sense. You can’t win them all 😉

What the blazes is a “spring bar”. In English, as opposed to Americanese, it’s a watch pin. I’m well aware that this is a waste of time.
