A unique and rare brand new, (NOS) New Old Stock Tudor Heritage Black Bay reference 79220B with certificate stamped 2018. The Tudor Black Bay 79220 was discontinued in 2016 and replaced by a new variant with an in-house movement, and with this watch still featuring factory stickers and being in brand new, unworn condition, it has a condition which is uncommon to come by. It is also rare to find a Black Bay 79220B with a certificate stamped so late, long after the production of the model ended.

Note that some paint is missing on the crown, which is quite common on the 79220 model since it has an engraved rose which has been filled with black paint. This is why Tudor has come to remove the black paint from the crown with its newer Black Bay models.

The Tudor Heritage Black bay 79220 features a Tudor modified ETA movement, Tudor’s vintage rose logo on the dial, as well as the “Smiley text” dial, unlike the new variant which does not have any of these features. The Black Bay is inspired by Tudor’s vintage dive watches from the 1950s and 1960s, and thus it features many vintage design features, such as a big crown, matte dial, and a case shape which is similar to Tudor’s submariner at the time, with brushed contrasted by polished, and with chamfers at the lugs.
