Rolex GMT-Master II reference 116710BLNR. The watch features Rolex’s iconic dual-colored bezel, and this particular model has a blue color contrasted by black. The bezel is made in Rolex’s scratch-resistant Cerachrom and is rotatable in both directions. The bezel and the GMT hand allows you to know the time in two time zones at the same time.
The GMT-Master II 116710BLNR is a very popular watch in Rolex’s collection. In fact, it is one of the most popular watches that Rolex offers, obviously with the Submariner in the number one spot. The 11710BLNR has a very appealing two-colored bezel which gives it a beautiful look. The color makes it stand out, yet in a subtle way. The GMT-Master II was first made for pilots for Panam (Pan American Airways). These pilots needes a watch that would be able to show two time zones simultaneously during their long-haul, and therefore, Rolex developed the first GMT-Master timepiece ref 6542 made in collaboration with Panam.
The watch and case are made in Rolex’s 904L Oyster steel and the bracelet features polished middle-links. It is powered by a self-winding in-house Rolex caliber 3186.
