It is a certified Swiss chronometer and features a bidirectional rotatable bezel. The Yacht-Master is made in Rolesium, which is specific to the model. This means that the case and bracelet are made in Oyster steel while the bezel of the watch is made of 950 platinum which contributes to a vibrant luminosity.  The indexes are made in 18 ct gold to prevent tarnishing.
