Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Beach Green Chrysoprase 116519 P-Serial

Rare and highly sought-after Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 116515 in 18K white gold with green “beach” chrysoprase stone dial. The watch comes delivered with the original certificate. The watch is a P-serial that dates the year of production to 2000 which corresponds with the production of the Rolex Daytona Beach series which was only in production between the years 2000 and 2001 (P and K serial watches).

The watch was checked by Rolex in 2021 and got a brand new original Rolex green lizard strap. The watch is in excellent condition with crisp case and natural signs of use for its age. Please refer to the images. The strap is fitted on an 18K white gold folding clasp.

The Rolex Daytona Beach series is a highly limited production run of Daytona watches with 4 different dial colors –  blue, green, yellow, and pink. This particular watch is the green version, featuring a striking dial made of the stone “Chrysoprase”. Due to the brittle and sensitive nature of stone, the fact that Rolex managed to create stone dials with details such as recessed sub-dials is considered a great feat. With limited production numbers and a design that stands out of the ordinary, the Rolex Daytona beach has come to become one of the rarest, most sought-after Daytona models today.
