The Tudor Hertitage Black Bay line of watches were released in 2012. These watches were a reinterpretation of the early Tudor Submariner models – Tudor’s diver’s watches from the Submariner line in the 1950s and 1960s. The Black Bay line was an instant success, combining vintage design elements that collectors have come to love and appreciate, with new design elements, creating a line that became an instant success at its launch at Baselworld.

The watch features an ETA movement and a “smiley dial”. Since being discontinued and replaced with a newer version which features an in-house movement, and which has also made the case thicker, the Black Bay 79220N has started increasing in value, since it is the “original” diver’s watch from Tudor’s relaunch. The 79220N was also only manufactured for 6 months which means that there are limited examples of the watch. This makes this particular piece a future predicted collector’s watch.

Due to the limited production of this model, the new old stock and untouched condition nature with full factory stickers make this a very rare find.
