The Tudor Heritage Black Bay was in production between 2012 and 2016 and was then discontinued in favor of the updated version reference 79230R with an in-house movement. The Tudor 79220r has a striking burgundy red matte aluminum bezel insert with 60 graduations. The bezel is unidirectional. To match the color of the bezel, the crown tube is also red. Since Tudor announced the 5-year warranty for watches sold from 2020 and onwards, and this reference was discontinued in 2016, to find this reference with a five-year warranty is extremely rare.
The Tudor 79220R brings the benefit of being slightly thicker than the successor, which allows it to sit slimmer on the wrist.
