Patek Philippe Aquanaut reference 5167A “Geneva Seal” from 2008, complete with box and papers. The watch is in used condition and is equipped with an original Patek Philippe rubber strap with deployment buckle. The watch has a gray/black dial with an embossed print. It is also equipped with Arabic numerals. The watch has a see-through case back that allows you to admire the stunning caliber equipped with a 24k gold rotor.

This legendary Patek Philippe Aquanaut reference 5167 is not the ordinary Aquanaut reference 5167.

This Aquanaut features a Geneva Seal stamp on the movement. Until 2009 Patek Philippe used a third party authority to examine and test their movements. As proof that the movement passed the stringent tests performed by the third party, the movement was awarded a Geneva Seal stamp movement.

After 2009 Patek Philippe started to perform this control in-house in order to control and test their own movements. As a result, the movements thereafter have the Patek Philippe seal instead.

The Geneva Seal is rare and can only be found on the Aquanaut watches that have been produced until 2009. This makes this particular Patek Philippe Aquanaut reference 5167 rare and collectible.
